Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your account details (name, email, password hash or Google sign-in), and the content you bring into Context: emails and calendar events synced from Google, documents you link from Google Drive, notes and chat context you save, and prompts you create. We also keep basic operational logs (sync timestamps, errors).

Google user data

With your consent, Context reads your Gmail messages, Google Calendar events and Google Drive files using read-only Google scopes. We use this data solely to show it to you inside your own workspace, to build your daily operating picture, and — for Drive files you explicitly select — to extract text into your private knowledge base. We do not show your Google data to anyone else, do not use it for advertising, and do not sell it.

Context's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never used to train AI models.

AI processing

When you use AI features (the Playground, or the daily refresh), the relevant content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing under our API agreement. Anthropic does not train models on this API data. When you connect Context to an AI client over MCP (for example Claude or ChatGPT), that client retrieves only what its tools request, under a token you can revoke at any time by removing the connector.

Storage & security

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase, AWS Mumbai region) and served over HTTPS. Access tokens for Google are stored encrypted at rest by our database provider and used only server-side.

Retention & deletion

You can delete any document, prompt or saved chat at any time — deletion is immediate and permanent. Deleting your account removes all associated data within 30 days. Email privacy@contextuse.com for account deletion or any data request.

Cookies

We use only essential session cookies for sign-in. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
